We went on numerous more game safari tours around this region. All were great and we thought we wouldn't miss anything. Other game reserves include Kariega Game Reserve, the Isimangaliso Wetland and several private Game Reserve.

Watching the sunrise from a camel in Giza is a memorable experience. The pyramid and sphinx dates from 26th century BC are among Egypt's greatest attractions. The pyramid at Giza is easily reached by car in Cairo's main city and capital Cairo and the area is equally interesting to see.

The largest intact and unflooded volcanic caldera, Ngorongoro Crater is an amazing location in Africa. The northwestern part of the crater measures 260 km2 and the floor measures 325 meters high with an area of 260 kilometers squared.
During our visit to Nguorongori Craters, I felt like I was going into a Disney movie - which we had no doubt. Hundreds of species lived at the same time zebras and leopards chased them. It seemed to be fairytale.
Ngorongoro crata were some of our favorites on the Tanzanian safari. The colossal volcanic crater was formed by a huge volcano that exploded three billion years ago and collapsed.

20. Lalibella – Ethiopia
Ethiopia does not appear on everyone's radar; this is an amazing country that you can visit. The region has a rich history and enchanting surroundings to admire. People think about Ethiopia's famine in the 1980s, although Ethiopia has lush green forests with rocky mountains, lakes and rivers.
Lalibella comprises several stone temple complexes drilled into the rock. Ethiopia has adopted Christianity which we witnessed throughout our 23 day tour on our bicycles. In Ethiopia the other places worth visiting are Gondar, which is a scenic town of medieval houses nestled among a lush landscape of trees.
21. Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
The Magahinga Gorilla National Park was created to protect the endangered mountain gorillas and golden monkeys of the region. The park features three volcanic eruptions and is considered as one of Africa's most biodiverse areas.
Alpine and bamboo forests cover the whole reserve. Since its founding, the park has been the residence of the earliest Batwan Pygmy tribe that inhabited the forests and they remain here today as its guardians. Location: Uganda.

22. Chobe National Park – Botswana
I remember walking through Chobe National Park on a bike. When we cycled around the paved path, we wondered what lay behind the shady grass. We slept under savannah dung where African elephant population is largest.
We had fun! One of our very special African safari experiences was aboard Chobe's riverboat where we floated on water while the animals looked over. Chobe is a good place to visit from Victoria Falls if you have visited a few countries in Zambia or if you wish to list other African destinations to visit.

The Wildebeest migration has become a fascinating movement which can be seen in many ways. In Tanzania a migration occurs in plains in Serengeti National Park and in Masaai Mara in Kenya. About 1 million wildebeests and zebras move on greener soils.

These white chalky formations are created through sandstorms which occur in these areas. We took a jeep safari into the white desert and experienced Bedouin life here. It was amazing camping outside in the Western Sahara Desert.

Lake Nikuru is a wonderful spot in Africa for rhino sightings in its natural habitats. It is feared that Africa's rhinoceros can be seen around Lake Nakuru. Lake Nakuru is famous for its birds migration, which means there's always hundreds of flying flamingos around the shore.
