The focus area includes military equipment, guns, and the history of rodeo performances and Western performers. It also features an original Western town replica and holds periodic educational events.
06. Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge
Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge was founded in 1901 and its beautiful location makes it among top attractions in Oklahoma. In southwest Louisiana, near Lawton, it lies between two granite-clad mountains. Its 59,000 acres once comprised a prairie of mixed grass.
The Wichita Mountains National Wildlife Refuge provides many unique sites to view. There are 15km trails with many lakes filled with fish to try and a beautiful Charon Garden wilderness area to camp and relax.
07. Myriad Botanical Gardens, Oklahoma City

12. W. Marland Mansion
During the 1920s the estate hosted an eponymous congressional governor, oil magnate and billionaire. Unique in many ways, Marland was not concerned with his construction budget and expanded its edifice to 43561 square foot. The EW. Marland mansion is a favorite place to see Oklahoma artists.
Despite its chandeliers of crystals, marble floors make it luxurious, its true uniqueness lies in its ceiling. 13. 45th Infantry Museum
This 45th Infantry Museum is dedicated to Oklahoma military activities. Its site is in Oklahoma City where one of the first armed forces fought at the outbreak of the First World War.
The Museum has been built in armor dating back to the 1930s. On arrival, Thunderbird Park is 15 acres of open space that contains weapons, military aircraft and tanks. The 45th Infantry Museum has a large assortment of exhibits that will amaze your eyes with what items can be displayed.
14. Turner Falls Park
Turner Fall Park is among Oklahomas best-loved places and is often considered as the refuge of residents. It offers many attractions of nature and the pride in the park is Turner Falls. The waterfall is 77 meters in height and is the state's tallest, with streams of freezing cold water, plenty of campsites and many other attractions.

16. Museum of the Great Plains, Lawton
The Museum of the Great Plains in Lawton has interactive natural history exhibits that show the life of the west from the Natives and Pioneers. Explore outside and visit several old buildings, such as the Railway Depot, Trading Post and Schoolhouses.

17. Henry Overholser Mansion
Henry Overholser Mansion was constructed in 1903 by the principal founding father at Oklahoma City. The mansion has been regarded by the residents as their very first mansion. There are twenty rooms spread over the 3 levels.
During its lifetime this residence stayed with the Overholsers families however eventually became a tourist attraction. It is later regarded as an important tourist activity in Oklahoma City.
Henry Overholser Mansion contains original decorations, furnishings and fixtures preserved by the Oklahoma City historians. It is an hourlong tour led by highly skilled docents that will give you an intimate view of life in 1900.
18. Museum of Osteology
When it comes to strange locations, one of the most popular museums in Oklahoma is probably the Museum of Ostéologie. The book was compiled and written by Jay Villemarette, who owns bone marrow supplier Skullings Unlimited International.
This historic museum has 400 skulls a total of 400 bones and 5,000 bones covering 2,500 species. Every specimen is obtained in an ethical manner. The Museum of Osteology has an extensive collection. Among other oddities, there are 2,000-lb. skeletons from humpback whales 40 feet long.
19. The Toy and Action Figure Museum
The Toys and Action Figure museums have to prove to be the most unique spot in Oklahoma. They are the only museums in the entire world dedicated to action figures. The village in Pauls Valley offers an abundance of unique figures, many of them surviving in their original packaging completely unopened. If you go to the museum of toys, the eye will most likely draw on a huge diorama filled with hundreds of figures from the franchises.
20. National Weather Center
Oklahoma State experienced one of the worst storms of all time, with powerful tornados sweeping the sky and causing fierce heat and thunder. It's the extremes that make the Norman Weather Station a good place to visit.

21. Woody Guthrie Center
The Woody Gutherie Center has an extensive exhibition collection celebrating both the life and art of the artist and his contribution to social and political discourse. 22. Oklahoma City Museum of Art
The museum collection is extensive and covers a wide array of visual arts including photography and painting. Genres include primarily pop art, abstract art, American and European artists, contemporary and postwar art.
Among the more common exhibit collections in the museum is that of acclaimed glass artist Dale Chunguly. Installations occupy a space for rotating the large Chihuly collection and the remainder of the museum's extensive collection, and the museum has also arranged travel exhibits.
23. Ed Galloway's Totem Pole Park
Ed Galloway's Totem-Poll Park is an Oklahoma attraction near Route 66 and only miles from here. In 1938 the original artist started producing concrete decorations. Galloway was art professor and at his end he chose his method of totem limbs from strong material.
Galloway used steel, rebar and concrete in his creation of diverse colourful totems that he created in the Toto Park. The sculpting and installation of this huge 93 foot tall towering totem was commissioned in eleven years. It is covered with sweeping figures and animals with 200 stunning carvings.
24. Beavers Bend State Resort Park
Beavers Bend State Park is a famous national park with many visitors and is a must-see for anyone visiting Oklahoma. This park offers an exciting way in which you can relax and enjoy yourself without a lot of stress and agitation.

25. Tiger Safari Zoological Park
The Tiger Safari Zoological Reserve is located in a 45 hectare area that hosts many different kinds of animals. The area includes over 150 species, including birds, monkeys, owlers and lions.
