Visit Hallstatt, Europe's prettiest lakeside town
If you look at the Hallstatt in Austrian Alpine mountains you can pack your suitcases and prepare for a European flight. Believe us, I'll be right there for you. What you will find out may be the beauty of the beautiful Lakeside city in real life.
Sadly, these photos are of no real value! If you want a romantic spot where fairy tales look real, that would be it. Continue reading. Visit the Hallstatt Hotel.
Walk in the Foothills of the Italian Dolomites
The Dolomites in Italy are regarded to be the best alpine region in the world as a whole. The winter season is a winter wonderland, but the warmer temperatures mean the possibility that the area offers a greater number of activities.
The best months of the year for a visit are June until May when there is sunshine but the temperatures remain cool for a comfortable hike across the Dolomites. Read more. There is a small village in Rome for you to visit.
Walk your way to Florence's best views
Start your morning at Boboli Gardens behind Palazzo Pitti, the former residences of Medici. The Garden's summit leads to Fort Bevedere and the Bardini Gardens, a quiet refuge above historical cities.
The journey is somewhat rocky but ultimately leads through San Niccolo's town gate and the San Miniato al Monte cathedral which has the best views on Florence. Reward yourself by ordering some freshly baked pasta at the Zeb in San Niccolo. Katelyne Sohn, ESPIGL.
Road trip along the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland.
Another road trip to my upcoming bucket list. Ireland is an amazing coastline. The route isn't very easy with 1 550 kilometers, but certainly worthwhile.
By going this route you will add smaller bucket lists to your itinerary, like the Rings of Kerry. Two weeks should give enough time to complete the journey.
Take a selfie with the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Yes it's extremely cheesy.
Go husky sledding or skiing in Finnish Lapland.
Finland Lapsa is a magical place. Visiting Lapland does not involve seeing Santa, unless they're bringing you a list!
You can visit Huskies and reindeer, participate in skiing and snowshoeing, enjoy Finnish spa experiences, or even view the Northern lights. Find all of Levi's travel information here.
Splurge on a water taxi in Venice
Venice can be very pricey. In fact, the water taxi is essentially cheaper than public vaporettos (waterbuses). But there simply can't be any better way to reach the hotel from airports than to board a floating ship immediately after landing.
Setting up a trip for visitors is unlike any other city has. Bonuses? The Cipriani hotel has its own dock and will transport you to the port.
Enjoy a gondola ride in Venice.
Touristic? Yes. Is there anything so costly about the cost of this? It's absolutely true. There is certainly something magical about a gondola tour of Venice, and it is definitely a legend for all of us!
Drive Germany's Romantic Road.
Driving in Germany's romantic route is among the best ways to see the country.
Walk the city walls of Dubrovnik
Dubrovnik became a popular location as the main locations for the popular TV show Game of Thrones. Besides the tourist attractions, the town has welcomed many people.
The beach town is also often a starting point for yacht week visitors, resulting in a large crowd of young travellers throughout the summer.
Whatever you are in Dubrovnica, it is certainly important for you to enjoy your visit and walk the walls. It can help you get a sense of the place you live in and learn about its history while taking in everything.
Visit the Prague Christmas Markets
It is never an ideal time to visit Prague. Rain or shine is bringing this beautiful town to life and weather will provide the best backdrops for your city escape.
There is no better time to visit Prague this Christmas season. It's here that life in the city really starts – with endless holiday markets and street food vendors.
Also, a winter vacation in the European continent adds Prague to the central European adventures.
Ride a bike along the canals of Amsterdam
There may be no capital in Europe as romantic as Amsterdam. Alternatively, you can rent a bicycle and ride through Amsterdam's streets.
Not only will you feel more local as you explore the city and cover more ground. The sunrise and sunset will lead you to Amsterdam’s famous river canal. It’s a beautiful memory I've ever had!
Marvel at the incomplete La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.
The earliest cathedrals were constructed over a period of countless years in Europe. At La Sagrada Familia incomplete, there's an updated realism in the midst. When you visit the Cathedral, you may enjoy a view from an amazing view on top!!
Enjoy a city break in Tallinn, Estonia's capital.
Tallinn's attractions include museums and historic old towns as well as the arts and cultural district and many of the parks that are dotted around the city. Do NOT miss a view from Toompea Hill! Find out my full itinerary of trips to Tallinn.
Experience the Northern Lights in Finnish Lapland
I am fortunate to be able to experience the Northern light at many locations but I think nowhere is more magical. The winter chalets of Finland are beautiful foregrounds, the Northern Lights dancing colourfully behind them.
Go island hopping in Greece and take a boat ride in an underground lake.
There are about 600 islands in Greece of which 227 are populated, many of which can easily be visited. You can travel either by bus, ferry or rent your yacht to sail like I did on Iona.
For a unique Greek island experience go to Kefalonia to see the Melissani Lake underground lakes/caves. This is best photographed at sunrise if the sun rises directly over the hole. Please view my trip itinerary here.
Hike the Path of the Gods along the Amalfi Coast.
The Amalfi coastal village of Bomerano and Nocelle boasts one of Europes best hiking trails. The main stretch runs about four miles, but you're in good condition to get out of Nocelle to Positano by walking. But these views merit effort.
Spend a weekend in Nîmes, the ‘French Rome'.
With an ancient colonial building that may have been better preserved than the Colosseum in Rome and more Roman buildings to admire, like La Tour Magne at Mont Cavallier, with views to the sky from all sides of town, it should be no surprise why Nîmes got its name. You're also welcome to explore this old village and riverbanks.
Explore the world famous Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
Ireland offers you many gorgeous places wherever you go, and nowhere else in Ireland are the breathtaking or iconic the mountains of Mohe along the Wild West Coast. The cliffs in County Clare are available for viewing on a day trip from nearby Galways.
Because they're very popular you may join an excursion to Galway on foot without being driven, which is a great day trip. List the top eight tourist attractions of Ireland.
Sail the coast of Croatia
Croatia is rapidly becoming a popular holiday destination across the world. I don't understand why. Several visitors travel year after year for yacht holidays in Croatia. If you like to sail along Croatian shores you will be spoilt by choice.
Explore the coastline of Eastern Cyprus in a buggy.
Enjoy Ayia napa parties, hike in Cap Greco, visit Protaras town, eat gyros and souplaki, or relax on Konnos Beach the eastern coast.
Admire the sweeping lavender fields of Provence.
Whatever lavender you have seen in life, you can never stop being amazed at the sheer size of the lavender fields in the Provence region. Come summer you will really find Provence where purple fields cover the view from every angle of view.
Road trip along Spain's south coast.
Fly into Malaga and drive across the coast and inland to your liking in the south! Top attractions to be missed include the folklore village of Ronda and world-class Alhambra in Granadura along the Sierra Nevada, the highest mountain in Europe.
Get off the beaten path with a visit to the Faroe Islands.
Stunningly gorgeous, the isolated Faroe Islands are an unvisited part of Europe... but the scenery is breathtaking.
Go for a hike in Croatia's Plitvice Lakes National Park.
Plitvice Lakes National Park is an excellent national park that I think is worth mentioning on every list of places in Europe for tourists. This beautiful turquoise lake has sixteen separate lakes connected by an impressive waterfall system.
Travel on the real Hogwarts Express, Scotland
It's not my own fault but I've never had a dream like mine that could have happened at Hogwarts. I'd like you all to know if I've been boarding the Hogwarts Express in Scotland as I am still unable to find anything.
That's actually true! The Hogwarts Express was shot crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct in Scottish films but actually is located here. How do we wait? That's a bit like magic.
Eat a falafel sandwich at L'As du Fallafel in Paris
Paris offers many famous, cheap restaurants but nothing can compare to a tasty falafel sandwich at the A'S du Fallafel. Often known on the Internet (and by hungry students) as Lenny Kravitz’s best coffeeshop, there are often long lines across this street shop.
You're lucky to have a comfortable room inside and you'll always see people standing, consuming this admitably messy Sandwich covered with hummus, tahini, harissa cabbage, and more. Bring Fallafel specials that include signature eggplants. —S.W. Roman.
Eat tapas (and churros) in Madrid.
Madrid has a popular nightlife culture in which bars stay open until the night. Want to see night life in Madrid? Enjoy a few dishes at various pubs and then serve a late night Churros! All the time – cherros and chocolate are great highlights for visitors to Spain during the winter.
Explore Switzerland's Castles
When thinking about Switzerland you can immediately look toward mountains, skies or the snow. It is one of Europes most sought-after destinations where you can do skiing. However Switzerland has more to offer besides the cold seasons, and you can explore fairytale castles.
Eat street food.
Unlike crepes or breads in France, or waffles in Belgium, kebabs are almost everything if not all.
